The Mission of The Reading Disabilities and Dyslexia Awareness Group is to help prevent the pain of reading disabilities and dyslexia through awareness, education and the donation and distribution of research proven reading programs. Based in Brandon, FL, The Reading Disabilities and Dyslexia Awareness Group delivers informative presentations about reading disabilities and dyslexia to parent groups, educators and other professionals involved with children. Through increased awareness, we hope to arm these groups with the information needed to identify children with special educational needs. Once identified, we provide educators with the latest information on research proven remediation strategies. We also strive to be a resource for parents to better understand the specific issues that are involved with raising a child with a reading disability or dyslexia.
The Reading Disabilities and Dyslexia Awareness Group is based in Brandon FL and is a Florida 501C3 not-for-profit corporation. We accept donations so that we can purchase scientifically backed and research proven reading programs and distribute them to educators in the community.
